Keaps makes algae-sourced Omega-3. Not a catalogue of twenty supplements, and not fish oil in a new bottle. One formula, built around DHA, sourced from the place DHA actually comes from.
Why algae, not fish
Most people assume Omega-3 comes from fish. It does not. Fish do not produce DHA. They accumulate it by eating algae, and everything else in the ocean accumulates alongside it.
We source one step earlier in that chain, from cultivated marine microalgae. Three things follow from that decision:
- It is the original source. We take the DHA directly from the organism that makes it, rather than from an animal that ate it.
- Cultivation instead of extraction. Our algae is grown in controlled conditions rather than harvested from open ocean, so it does not arrive carrying the contaminant load that fish-derived oils have to be stripped of.
- No fish, no compromise. No fishy aftertaste, no repeat, and suitable for people who do not eat fish.
How we hold the quality line
Every batch is third-party tested before it reaches a customer. We publish what is in the product on the label, and the full ingredient list and supplement facts are on the product page.

How we operate
Keaps is a small, direct-to-consumer operation. We sell one product from our own website rather than through retail middlemen, which is why we can keep the formula tight and the price honest.
